“As patients started landing ✈️ today from all over the world 🌎 having arrived for surgery on their second eye 👁 , many of them #radialkeratotomy surgery complications with #cataract, their excitement 😃, their celebration 🎉 , their child like antics to express their happiness filled my heart ❤️ as I get ready to once again perform on these so-called “Complex” and “Impossible” patients, having already delivered for them on their first eye 👁 .
These are #attorney s and #physician as patients who besides Radial Keratotomy complications from 8 to 30 incisions , extreme #irregularastigmatism , #cornealscarring,#cornealectasia, high #farsightedness and variety of complex #cataract, came initially with skepticism having been told for decades that nothing can be done 🦇 . Now they come with added enthusiasm as if demanding for me to perform 🎯 once again.
Though it is so gratifying to see them dancing 💃 with their new vision 👀 , having been kept “visually imprisoned” 🦇 for decades with little Hope besides #contact lenses and #transplant , I must say this is not like being halfway up the mountain 🏔 , I have to climb another mountain ⛰ with their second eye and deliver at an even higher level because now , no matter how complex, they know they are, they expect the same level of delivery as I did on their first eye.
