Sharing another day of fixing XTreme #lasiksurgery complications for patients from all over the world 🌎 especially those with what I call complication Cocktails 🍸 meaning they have had multiple surgeries by same or different surgeons so these patients all had from 4 to 12 different surgeries including combinations of multiple Lasik, with multiple #radialkeratotomy with multiple PRK , multiple #crosslinking and then abrasive corneal surgeries on top of that like Diamond burrs not to mention many with additional #cataractsurgery to a final cocktail of what I call “Blinded Mary”.
Though I keep teaching surgeons not to perform multiple surgeries and to understand the reason for failure before proceeding to do more surgery on these patients, what is important to know is all of these patients can be fixed and many of them back to 20/20 without glasses.
Among many patients today, here is a patient with multiple RadialKeratotomy incisions in sessions and then multiple Lasik Surgeries till blinding Ectasia with #astigmatism of 19.7 D and keratometry of nearly 70 D.
Teaching my principal of vision beyond surgery in how you can use artistic and analytically designed yet benign surgery like premium cataract surgery to counter all these so-called “nightmarish” appearances and that too with maximal comfort and artistry as you can see this patient despite such a Cornea go thru surgery without sedation smiling throughout surgery and wanting to dance afterwards having been kept blinded for so long.
