Sharing this video of my patient One Week post #vivity Toric Cataract surgery in #keratoconus and his ecstasy of seeing 👀 distance and near without glasses 👓 for the first time in his life.
Following recent FDA approval, this is among the first in the nation where I used it in a Keratoconus Cataract Surgery with Irregular Astigmatism.
With three decades of successful experience using all kinds of toric lens implants in “Irregular” Corneas for cataract surgeries, I recognized the importance of this new lens implant technology in patients with #keratoconus and #radialkeratotomy and other high #astigmatism Corneas to bring them not only the great distance Vision but also provide freedom for near vision.
