Wavefront Custom Lasik

 

Custom Lasik is a technological advance in Lasik surgery wherein wavefront aberrations in the entire optical system of the eye are corrected (unlike just the cornea-based refractive error in conventional Lasik) towards best potential visual acuity. This is ongoing industrial effort supervision.

Jacksonville Custom Lasik Surgeon Dr. Gulani was already certified and experienced in Custom Lasik surgery abroad even before the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved this surgery for eye surgeons in the United States of America. He has been teaching (innovator's talk) wavefront concepts and Custom Lasik surgery to Lasik surgeons worldwide. He has been invited to author a book chapter to share his experience in the prestigious, Clinics of North America, which was released recently.
