My vision was unstable and my right eye was constantly irritated and red.  It always felt like a grain of sand was embedded in it.  I had prescription lenses which enabled me to see, but not clearly, and I was constantly putting them on and taking them off.  This condition was the result of scarring from a Radial Keratotomy (RK)  procedure years ago with another eye surgeon.  My eyes were very strained trying to see and to work on a computer with a lot of reading and editing involved.

I was very impressed with the total experience at GVI.  The office staff was polite and I was immediately made to feel comfortable.  The exams were conducted with the least discomfort possible.  I was never made to wait for my appointments and was treated with respect.  It was obvious from my first appointment that this is where I needed to be to get the help I needed.  The institute eludes professionalism.

 I felt immediate confidence in Dr. Gulani.  He thoroughly discussed my condition with me and explained the procedure(s) he was considering.  He was honest in explaining to me that
I was a difficult patient with the amount of scarring I had from the RK  and that I may not get excellent vision restored.  He was assuring me he woud
do his best to give me good vision.  I felt confident enough in
his ability to proceed with the surgery.
And after reading his credentials there was never any doubt
the he was the best the profession has to offer. I feel fortunate that I was referred to him.  I really expected that my case was hopeless.

Dr. Gulani performed his Advanced Laser technique and I do not have to wear my glasses to read or to work on the computer.  The lights are no longer big halos and I am regaining my confidence to drive at night.  I am not feeling the frustration of trying to make out objects and read signs, find glasses etc…

I can attest to his skills with my success. Again, he describes your condition in a way that you can understand and encourages any questions you may have.  I was very appreciative and impressed that Dr. Gulani took the time to phone my home to check on me after surgery.

I shall most definitely recommend Dr. Gulani to patients worldwide. With the confidence that each patient will receive the personal and professional treatment that I received.
