I’ve had dry eye for years, even though I did not know I had it at the time. My eyes were red most of the time, painfully tired & itchy. I could not open my eyes in the morning because my eye lids would be stuck together and I used my hands to open my eyes.

My Family Doctor sent me to Doctor Gulani after I tried several different eye drops and they did not help much with my eye condition.

From the moment I walked in Gulani Vision Institute felt like right place and I felt like I was in good hands. The staff was very helpful, very professional.

Dr. Gulani seemed very knowledgeable and also willing to share his knowledge. He seemed like he really cared about his patients and their eyes and that (my) feeling was growing with every (next) visit to this place.

Doctor Gulani did a complete eye exam, stated I had dry eye, and explained that this condition can be taken care of with the simple procedure that takes 20-30 seconds, but it can make major difference in my life. I decide I have to try that because I tried all drops that I could find for the last 3-4 years and nothing helped. Doctor Gulani would not let me leave the office before I knew everything I needed to know and encouraged me to ask questions and he had answer to every single question that I could think of.

After I decided to proceed with the plugs, Doctor Gulani first inserted temporary plugs and stated that if I feel good in next 24-48 hours after he inserted temporary plugs, I was a good candidate for permanent ones.

Couple hours after Dr. Gulani inserted temporary plugs, I felt major difference: my eyes felt like they were breathing again, they were not itchy or painful or tired. Couple of days later Doctor Gulani inserted permanent plugs and now I’ve had it for good month and a half and I can safely say that his was best decision I’ve made. I can easily open my eyes in the morning; my eyes are not itchy, or tired or painful anymore. I feel like I was reborn again (or at least my eyes) that’s how big difference this procedure made in my life.

I would highly recommend Doctor Gulani and his Gulani Vision Institute to everybody who has any problems with their eyes; this is the place to be at if you need a good eye doctor. He is the BEST.
