The first treatment I received left me terrified of ever going through that again. The next time I had a chalazion I opted, after several months, to have it removed during outpatient surgery. That procedure was done on the top of my right lid. That procedure was not done as neatly as I envisioned it would and as a result I now have a slightly raised area along the upper eyelash. When I noticed another chalazion had developed I was interested in other options.

I am naturally fearful of just about everything, but after the first couple or so of the gland probe, I felt at ease with the procedure. As soon the procedure was over I noticed they my eyes felt cool since my eyes were now able to manufacture tears correctly.
 
For about a week after the procedure I noticed some crusting around the eyelids. It has now been a month since the probe was done. The best part is that my chalazion was then able to go away naturally, since the meibomian glands were opened . My eyes feel and looks great, also the crusting is now gone.
