It was very difficult to see. I felt I was looking through distorted haze.  I wasn’t able to drive, wore a patch so I could focus with the good eye at work.

I was referred to Dr. Gulani by my eye doctor. After a thorough examination, Dr. Gulani determined me to have a retinal problem and immediately referred me to a retina specialist.  It was quite natural to return to him for hope of seeing better once cleared by the retina specialist.

My experience at Gulani Vision Institute has been very pleasant. The staff & Dr. Gulani were very reassuring, kind & caring.  They’ve not only been interested in me & the impact they could make on my life but were also interested in other areas of my life.

Dr. Gulani is dynamic, caring, compassionate & involved  in his patient & their care.  He is an extremely talented surgeon.  He clearly discussed the issues, the possibilities & his hopes for bettering my vision.  His skills to bring my vision to the level it is now is incredible & I will always be indebted to him.

Although still somewhat distorted from the impact of the retina detachments on my macula, I feel like someone has cleaned the window of my eye.  The haze is completely gone & my vision has improved unbelievably.

To achieve what he did with the surgery (advanced cataract) on my eye even though he categorized the prognosis as guarded speaks volumes about his surgical skills. 

Dr. Gulani made my vision correction a priority in order for me to be able to see at my daughter’s wedding.  It makes me feel like part of the Gulani “family”.
