I felt as if I was “blind as a bat”. I needed glasses to clearly see photographs. I could not read large highway signs without my progressive lens glasses. I felt useless and dependent on others. I lost those expensive glasses constantly.

My experience was all I hoped for. My options for surgery were clearly explained and I was encouraged to do research and ask any questions I might have. There was absolutely no pressure as I was encouraged to make my own, well informed decision.
