I would say my vision was quite poor, in that if not wearing contacts or glasses I could not read, drive or even see my wife’s beautiful face across the breakfast table.  I am quite active in working full time and going to school full time at night for my MBA, along with all of my other personal activities.  Having to worry about glasses and contacts was just another chore I loathed and was eager to rid myself of.

I had the fortunate and unique opportunity to work with Dr. Gulani at the University of Florida & Shands here in Jacksonville. 

Working as the Business Manager the University of Florida Ophthalmology Department, I had first-hand knowledge of Dr. Gulani’s expertise and professionalism, which is why when it came time for me to have vision correction surgery my first and only choice was Dr. Gulani, plain and simple.

At Gulani Vision Institute, from the first telephone call to set up a consultation, through my most recent visit, I have enjoyed a truly first-class experience.  From the start, I was treated as an individual with personalized service and not just as a medical record number.  The friendly and professional manner in which all of the staff operates is truly refreshing.

 I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gulani. 

Dr. Gulani is truly a gifted individual that the world is fortunate to have.  You don’t have to talk to Dr. Gulani very long to realize that he is sincere in his actions and words and practices medicine with his heart and soul.

 He performed Advanced Laser Surgery for me and I feel liberated!  I can roll over in the morning and actually read the time clock without fumbling for my glasses.  I love working outside gardening, construction projects, etc…and being in Florida one tends to sweat doing those things.  No longer do I have to stop working to wipe sweat from the lenses of my glasses!

Dr. Gulani’s surgical skills are truly outstanding.  I have been involved with surgery either directly or indirectly for the past 26 years and I can say Dr. Gulani is one of the best surgeons I’ve ever encountered. 

But there is more to being a gifted surgeon than just cutting, and this is one of the areas that Dr. Gulani excels: teaching.  Dr. Gulani has a passion for teaching and does a tremendous job of educating his patients so they can truly be partners in the surgery and recovery process. Dr. Gulani does not stride for “good enough.” 

Dr. Gulani strives for excellence and as he continues to educate other eye care professionals in his techniques and philosophies, more and more people all over the world can realize their vision potential.  Dr. Gulani does not provide a cookie-cutter approach to vision correction in that all of his patients are offered a vision correction procedure uniquely designed for the individual patient.

Without any hesitation, I shall refer anyone seeking the ebst eye surgeon from any where in the world to come to Dr.Gulani! 

My brother from Pennsylvania will be coming down to pay a visit to Dr. Gulani.
